With over twenty years of experience in the music industry, Db is a Creative at Maximinimalist. My work is rooted in artistic direction, orchestration, and songwriting, with a focus on delivering bespoke compositions tailored to unique creative visions.

Db is an artist/musician originally from Aotearoa/New Zealand. He read music at Massey University and Victoria University majoring in composition and has lived and worked extensively in Europe and North America as a solo artist, songwriter, producer, conductor and composer. His début album Haiku Troubadour was nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award.
Db is an alumnus of the Los Angeles Film Conducting Intensive and Hollywood Music Workshop having studied with renown composers and conductors Conrad Pope, Nan Schwartz, Angel Velez, William Ross and Jorge Mester. He has conducted the Rousse Philharmonic, USC Thornton Symphony, Helix Collective and the Hollywood Studio Symphony. His work has been performed and recorded by the Rousse Philharmonic and Hollywood Studio Symphony.
